Even it's only late summer or early fall, most local birdlife have already leaved the reefs. Some migrating waders from the far north are passing, but not one native Gull is anymore calling. Inside the abandoned fishing hut is an old alarm clock. I wind it up, and leave the microphones there for one hour. The sad tone of a lonely Greenshank is disappearing, the clock is ticking and the flyes are buzzing, that's all. Rayhat Reef 17/8/2015
